Tour plans
Arrival at Tirana International Airport. After meeting your guide, we travel north to Shkodra, one of Albania's oldest cities. Visit Rozafa Castle with sweeping views of Lake Shkodra and the old city center with its lively pedestrian area. Dinner and overnight in Shkodra.
Early departure. A breakfast box will be provided as we drive to the spectacular Koman Lake. Take the scenic ferry ride—often described as one of the most beautiful in Europe. Continue to Valbona Valley National Park, stopping along the way for photos and a short hike (approx. 1.5 hours) to Kukaj village. Dinner and overnight in Valbona.
After breakfast, we cross the border into Kosovo and visit Prizren, a picturesque Ottoman-era city known for its old bazaar, mosques, and churches. In the afternoon, return to Albania and drive to Tirana. Guided city tour along the main boulevard, passing key landmarks such as Skanderbeg Square and the Pyramid. Overnight in Tirana.
Drive to Kruja, the historical capital of Albania. Visit the Ottoman-style Bazaar, the Castle, and the Skanderbeg Museum. Return to Tirana in the afternoon to visit Bunk'Art 2, a Cold War-era bunker turned into a contemporary history museum. Free time in the evening. Overnight in Tirana.
Travel to North Macedonia to visit Ohrid, a UNESCO World Heritage city on the shores of Lake Ohrid. Enjoy a guided city walk and a boat tour on the lake. Continue to Sveti Naum Monastery before crossing back into Albania and continuing to Korça. Visit the bazaar and the Orthodox Cathedral. Dinner and overnight in Korça.
Drive south through stunning scenery, passing by the Vjosa River, Europe's last wild river. Arrive in the UNESCO city of Gjirokastra. Explore the cobblestone streets, Skenduli House, and the old town's architecture. Dinner and overnight in Gjirokastra.
Visit the Blue Eye spring, a natural wonder, then continue to Butrint, an ancient city and UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, travel to Saranda on the Ionian coast. Free time for a stroll along the seaside promenade. Dinner and overnight in Saranda.
Drive along the scenic Albanian Riviera. Stop at Porto Palermo to visit the Castle of Ali Pasha of Tepelena. Continue through the Llogara Pass and Llogara National Park. Arrive in Vlora, where the Adriatic and Ionian seas meet. Dinner and overnight in Vlora.
Visit the Castle of Berat and the Onufri Museum. Enjoy Turkish coffee and homemade raki in a traditional house inside the castle walls. Free time in the afternoon. In the evening, visit Pupa Winery for a wine tasting and a farewell dinner. Overnight in Berat.
